How We Use Information

We will process your personal information in accordance with our obligations under applicable data protection laws and regulations, for the following reasons and in order to:

• Provide you with the services, products or information you have asked for - such as booking therapies, tarot readings, meditation sessions, classes or responding to requests for information.

• Record any contact we have with you for internal administrative purposes.

• Process sales transactions or other payments and verify financial transactions.

• Provide you with information about the meditation sessions, tarot readings, courses, therapies and news, via a newsletter and email correspondence.

• Manage your communication preferences with us generally (if you ask not to receive marketing materials we will keep a record of this).

• Notify you about changes to our services.

• Ensure that content from our website is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer / mobile device.

Pure Harmony MBS operates on a number of social media platforms and although this policy covers how we use any data collected from these sites we bear no responsibility for how these third party providers may use your information. We recommend you read the privacy policy of the social media website before sharing data and make use of the privacy settings and reporting mechanisms stated within to control how your data is used.

Disclosing and Sharing Data

Pure Harmony MBS will never sell your personal data. If you have opted in to marketing we may contact you with information about our products and services but these communications will always come from Pure Harmony MBS (for example advertisements in newsletters).

We will only share personal data if:

• We are legally required to do so (for example if compelled by an order of court or by a law enforcement agency legitimately exercising a power)

How Long We Store Personal Information

We will only store personal information for as long as needed. Payment details will be deleted as soon as the payment has been made and confirmed into our bank account. Contact telephone numbers and Skype details will be deleted after a session/consultation, unless you are booked on a course of more than one sesssion or are a regular client (with your permission). If you have completed a consultation form for a therapy the details will be kept safe (locked away and secure network) and will not be divulged to any third party. They will be kept for seven years as per insurance requirements.

Your Rights

We want to ensure you remain in control of your personal data. Part of this is making sure you understand your legal rights, which are as follows:

• The right of access to a copy of the information we hold about you (this is known as a subject access request).

• The right to have your data erased (though this will not apply where it is necessary for us to continue to use the data for a lawful reason).

• The right to have inaccurate data rectified.

• The right to object to your data being used for marketing or profiling, and

• Where technically feasible, you have the right to personal data you have provided to us which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or the performance of a contract. The information will be provided in a common electronic format.

Please bear in mind that there are exemptions to the rights above and though we will always try to respond to your requests there may be situations where we are unable to do so (for example it may not be possible to provide copies of information which relates to the prevention and detection of crime or for which legal professional privilege could be claimed in legal proceedings).
